Description
At 690 amp-hours, this RoyPow LiFePO4 pack is a large lithium iron phosphate battery, meant for equipment where lead-acid runtime or watering has become the limit. Lithium iron phosphate holds its voltage through most of a discharge and accepts a full charge cycle without the equalizing and top-up routines that flooded batteries need.
It is sold alongside our 628Ah lithium pack, and the gap between the two is 62Ah, roughly ten percent more capacity here. Voltage, dimensions and weight were not available to us in a manufacturer datasheet we could match to this exact model, so confirm the system voltage, case size and connector with us before ordering, and do not assume it will fit the space of a lead-acid battery it replaces.
Lithium also means a different charger. A lead-acid charge profile is not a substitute for one approved for LiFePO4, so plan on the charger and battery being matched as a set.
